TESTIMONY OF GOD'S
DIRECTION TO KMM:
I graduated from Southland Bible Institute in 2002, then became a full
time staff member at the school. While there, I
had the opportunity to go on a mission's trip to Carriacou in the Caribbean
(June of 2002
- January of 2003). This was a life-changing experience for me. I went
back to Southland and worked at my home church in Ashland, KY.
After working at a retreat at Youth Haven, I wrote William Owens
to let him know of my interest in coming to work full time. A few
months later, I became unsure of my request, because I was
close to my family and friends back home. I knew that God wanted me
with KMM, but it was an inward struggle. God changed my heart as I heard a
few messages on surrendering. This was an encouragement and I made
Jeremiah 29:11 my life verse. Although I am still working on my
support, I am working full time and enjoy being here.
