I’ve lived on campus, in Clay County, and at a house on Yellow Rock with a former missionary. Then in 2009, I bought 2 acres and a mobile home.
I have served as a camp hostess, Cubs Camp leader, counselor, and store director. I usually help wherever needed, especially on s’more night—my favorite! I was with the Crusaders for 22 years. Joyce Holeman and I graduated from Liberty University together in 1998.
I now work at the Rec Center when we don’t have things going on at camp.
My favorite part of KMM is the family. The Holeman family has become my family. Bill and Joyce encouraged me, and we enjoyed many special times together. The Owens family adopted me—I was the kids’ babysitter and they still hold special places in my heart.
Camp brings many people our way, and some have become lifelong friends.
Prayer Requests:
This month I am having cataract surgery in both eyes and am still dealing with arthritis in my hips and knees. I am thankful for my family, who faithfully support and pray for me.
