APPLY TO BE PART OF YOUTH HAVEN’S 2024 SUMMER STAFF!
Each year, YHBC is looking for counselors, kitchen and maintenance workers, housekeeping staff, horse workers and lifeguards for summer camps. Nurses and first aid workers are needed, as well. Our greatest need is for counselors (college age and older), lifeguards (certified) and nurses. To apply, click on link above.
We accept a limited number of high school applicants, so it is best to apply as soon as possible. Your prior attitude and work ethic (if you have previously worked at YHBC), along with your church attendance, references and qualification for the position you request will all be evaluated prior to accepting or denying your application.
Local junior staff workers must be at least 15 years old; and out-of-town workers requiring weekend accommodations must be 18 (unless supervised by a parent or church youth leader).
If your application is accepted, you are expected to attend the Staff Orientation, June 4-7 (Tuesday through Friday). If you cannot attend Orientation, you will not be eligible to work the Teen and Grade School Camps. If you would still like to work the Sunshine weeks, you may indicate that on your application, as there is a special orientation session on the Sunday night before each Sunshine Camp. Other than college-age students, we cannot promise anyone a full summer of work. We will work with college students to meet internship requirements.
